The North Face

I spotted this guy sitting on the fountain wall in Trafalgar Square,
London. He was extremely thin and was wearing a huge calico
bag with "The North Face" logo on it.
This caught my imagination and raised the question . . . is he a
traveler or a homeless person? . . . relaxing on a day out in a
new city or has he nowhere to go and is struggling to survive?
Whatever the answer, I had to paint him.
